Common Questions

Can more than one person attend the training?

It is very helpful for family and friends who are going to helping with your dog to come to the training classes, it means that everyone is training with the same techniques.

Can I bring my children?

Children are very welcome to attend and ideally join in with training. However, we do appreciate that children can get tired and struggle to focus sometimes, so it is worth bringing something for them to do, just in case.

What should I bring?

Please also bring some treats such as chicken, sausages or cheese cut into very small pieces, a basic 4-6ft lead, a toy, a harness (if you have one) and your dog’s vaccination card. Please avoid using retractable leads, half choke collars, choke collars and slip leads. It is worth considering just feeding your dog half their meal ration prior to training so they are slightly hungry, you can use the rest of the ration as part of the training.

How long are the classes?

The classes are one hour long.
